Proteus appoints new Technical Services Manager

Proteus Waterproofing has appointed a new Technical Services Manager Glenn Howes who joined recently to strengthen and support the technical, specification and training elements of the business.

Tasked with supporting the hot melt and felt systems that Proteus Waterproofing supply, Glenn will work with clients carrying out site inspections, core samples and offering specification support as needed on a project by project basis.    He will also further strengthen the training side of the business, both onsite and at the Rayleigh headquarters.

Justin Pitman, Director of Proteus Waterproofing commented: “We are delighted to welcome Glenn Howes on board to further strengthen our successful team.  Glenn has a proven and longstanding track record in waterproofing and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience which I’m sure will be of benefit to both Proteus and our customers.”

Having trained on hot melt systems following a four year felt fixer apprenticeship, the early part of Glenn’s career saw him working on some prestigious projects including GCHQ Cheltenham and Guildhall in the City of London to name but a few. The last eleven years have seen Glenn working as a Project Manager for Prater overseeing all aspects of waterproofing including design, buying and commercial on a significant number of projects.
